Oktoberfest Live at Nikke Colton Plaza — Duo with Genki Ishida 🎷🎹

On Sunday, October 4, I performed at AEON’s Oktoberfest, held at Nikke Colton Plaza in Ichikawa!

This time I was joined by saxophonist Genki Ishida for a duo performance.

Across two sets, we shared music featuring saxophone, flute, piano, and a little piano-and-voice as well. 🎷🎹🎤

It was a very different setting from the jazz clubs where I usually perform. I was delighted to see so many people stop and listen—from young children to people taking a break from shopping.

“Ichikawa German Day 2026” was also taking place at Colton Plaza, filling the venue with a festive German and Oktoberfest atmosphere. 🇩🇪🍺

The day reminded me how special it is when people unexpectedly encounter live music in the middle of everyday life.

Thank you so much to everyone who listened, and to the organizers for this wonderful opportunity!

It was a joy to play with Genki again after a while. I hope we can perform together again soon! 🎷🎹
